About Us Farm Cottage Cattery was established in 1989. The cattery resides in half an acre of landscaped garden and is easily accesible from the A23 and by bus routes 405, 455 which stop outside the cattery. The cattery is located in South Croydon, and is run under the personal loving care of Barbara Allen and individual needs are catered for. We positively encourage prior viewing and no appointment will be necessary within the opening hours.
Accommodation and facilities - Cats are housed in separate spacious, insulated and individually heated purpose built wooden chalets, each with its own run. There are also family chalets available (only cats from the same household may share). All chalets and runs are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between occupancies.
Beds – Our own baskets and ‘Vet Bed' fleeces are provided. However we are happy for you to bring your cat's own bed or basket.
Carrying baskets - Owners must transport their cats in an adequate secure basket or carrier between home and the cattery. Carriers of the corrugated cardboard type are NOT suitable.
Feeding – Special diets including Hills and Iams are catered for. Adult cats are fed twice daily and older cats and kittens to their own individual requirements. We supply all feeding and water bowls.
Health – We do not board uneutered cats. All cats will be examined on arrival and the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending the advice of a veterinary surgeon. A certificate evidencing current immunisation against cat ‘ flu' and feline enteritis must be deposited with us for the period of stay.
Prices include all food, heating, routine treatment and grooming. Both days of arrival and departure are charged as full days except for collection before 10.30am. A non refundable deposit is normally required and payment in full less deposit will be made at collection.
Booking - Early booking is strongly advised particularly for holiday periods and bank holidays. Bookings should be made by telephone and confirmed by a form which will be sent to you for completion and return within 14 days. Please note that the booking is taken as a firm booking and must be cancelled if no longer required.
Longer term bookings must be settled by monthly account.
Licensing – Annual inspection by Croydon Council.
We encourage prior viewing and no appointment will be necessary within the opening hours.
